About the Role:
The Department of Political Science and Global Affairs at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is inviting applications for a part-time lecturer position for Spring 2026. The selected candidate will teach PSCI 321: Making Public Policy, a course focused on the processes, institutions, and analytical frameworks that shape policymaking in democratic systems.
Eligibility:

A Ph.D. or advanced degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated experience or interest in teaching public policy at the university level.

Commitment to inclusive pedagogy and student engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures and facilitate classroom discussions for PSCI 321.

Design assessments and assignments aligning with course objectives.

Provide academic mentorship and maintain regular office hours for students.

Contribute to the department’s academic and intellectual environment.
