Opportunity for Paralegal & Operations (Remote, Full-Time) at TIL

TIL (The Investments Lawyers), a tech-enabled boutique law firm specializing in investment funds, syndications, and securities laws, is inviting applications for the position of Paralegal & Operations. This is a remote, full-time opportunity based in Mexico, ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about precision in legal operations.

TIL focuses on GP-side fund formation, LP-side representation, and deal work, including M&A, venture financings, and real estate transactions. The firm operates with a unique blend of legal, financial, and operational expertise, emphasizing precision, hospitality, and creativity in client service.

Eligibility

Bilingual proficiency (English–Spanish), with fluent or near-fluent English.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Comfortable using CRM tools and cloud-based systems (Clio, Coda, Slack).
Experience in billing, accounts payable/receivable, and client relationship management.
Strong command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, GCAI, etc.).
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment across North American time zones.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

Prior experience in a law firm or legal operations role.
Interest in learning programming languages (Python, SQL) or tools like Supabase, Lovable, Factory Bridge.
A good sense of humor (7.5/10 or better!).

Roles and Responsibilities

Drafting documents and forming legal entities.
Preparing drafts of regulatory filings.
Managing CRM workflows and client communications.
Supporting client onboarding, including engagement letters and billing.
Updating project checklists and assisting with day-to-day operational coordination.
