About:
The Journal of Human Trafficking, Enslavement and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (JHEC), published by IMPACT: Center Against Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence in Conflict, is inviting submissions for its 2026–7(1) annual regular issue. The journal welcomes scholarly articles that explore the intersections between human trafficking, enslavement, and conflict-related sexual violence, or examine one or two of these crimes in depth.
Eligibility:

Open to academics, practitioners, and researchers working in international criminal law, human rights, gender studies, and related fields.

Submissions must be original and unpublished.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Authors are expected to:

Submit an abstract (maximum 1 A4 page) outlining their proposed paper by 12 December 2025.

Submit the full article (6,000–8,000 words, excluding references) by 3 April 2026.

Engage with cutting-edge scholarship addressing the legal, social, and humanitarian dimensions of trafficking and sexual violence in conflict.
