About the Role:
Michael Page is recruiting for multiple Legal Counsel positions within a reputed financial services firm in India. These roles provide an opportunity to influence business decisions, work closely with senior leadership, and handle complex legal matters in a high-growth sector.
Eligibility:

LLB + LLM from reputed institutions (CS qualification is a bonus).

4–20 years of post-qualification experience (depending on the role).

Strong expertise in M&A, Commercial Contracts, Data Protection, IPR, and HR & Employment matters.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement legal strategy.
-
Identify and mitigate legal risks across partnerships, regulatory compliance, cyber security, intellectual property, and other matters.

Support dispute resolution and litigation processes in coordination with internal teams.

Foster positive workplace culture and manage employee relations.
