Bandhan Bank is inviting applications for the position of Team Member – Labour & Employment Law / HR Matters at its Corporate Legal Department, Head Office (Kolkata). This position offers an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of labour law and financial regulation within one of India’s leading banking institutions.
Eligibility:

Law degree from a recognised university.

Relevant experience in labour and employment law, preferably in a law firm or within the legal department of a bank, NBFC, or financial institution.

Strong knowledge of labour and employment laws, excellent drafting and advisory skills, and the ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Advise HR and internal teams on labour, employment, and disciplinary matters.

Manage and oversee labour and employment litigations, including drafting, research, and coordination with external counsel.

Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislations and review employee-related policies and documents.

Represent the organisation before labour courts, tribunals, and conciliation forums.

Track legal developments and advise management on their implications.

Support internal disciplinary proceedings through drafting and reviewing related communications.
