Role: Legal Counsel – Contracts & Employment Law
Location: India
Experience: 4–5 years post-qualification
Key Responsibilities
-
Draft, review, negotiate, and close a wide range of commercial agreements (sales, vendor, partnership, marketing, end-user terms, etc.)

Provide legal advice on employment-related matters including global workforce transitions, outsourcing, employee benefits, and incentives

Guide internal teams (e.g., HR, marketing, content, social media) on compliance with advertising, content, copyright, and IT laws
-
Liaise with external counsels and consultants across jurisdictions
-
Lead improvements in contract processes, including developing and maintaining legal templates and playbooks
-
Monitor statutory compliance and legal developments in employment law, ensuring company-wide awareness and alignment
-
Handle general compliance matters, statutory requirements, and dispute resolution (e.g., drafting legal notices)
Candidate Profile
-
Law graduate from a recognized Indian university
-
4–5 years PQE in contract negotiation, corporate advisory, and employment law
-
Prior in-house legal experience in tech or media platforms preferred
-
Strong understanding of consumer-facing digital platforms and the regulatory landscape
-
Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working across global, cross-functional teams
