About the Opportunity:
The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) invites submissions for the Harvard Arbitration Blog, a leading platform for thoughtful, accessible, and analytically grounded writing on commercial and investment arbitration. Authors worldwide—students, practitioners, academics—are encouraged to contribute short, research-backed commentaries that go beyond case summaries to offer critical insights and forward-looking perspectives.

Eligibility:

  • Open to students, practitioners, and academics with an interest in arbitration.

  • Submissions must reflect original analysis and adhere to academic integrity standards.

  • Authors must follow HIALSA’s Writing Guidelines and Editorial Policies.

Roles and Responsibilities (For Contributors):

  • Submit a 1,000–1,500 word article written in an accessible and analytical tone.

  • Ensure all research sources are properly cited using Bluebook (22nd edition).

  • Provide thematic reflections, critical analysis, or commentary on emerging issues in arbitration.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest, professional involvement, or use of AI tools as per policy.

  • Incorporate hyperlinks where relevant and keep footnotes minimal.

  • Revise drafts promptly if requested by the HIALSA Publications Team.
