Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre is inviting applications for the Justice First Fellowship – Trainee Solicitor position, commencing in April 2026. This opportunity allows aspiring solicitors to train within a leading community law centre, gaining hands-on experience in providing access to justice and supporting vulnerable clients.
Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the Legal Education Foundation (LEF) eligibility criteria for the Justice First Fellowship.

A demonstrated commitment to social welfare law and public interest litigation is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Work on housing, welfare benefits, and discrimination cases under supervision.

Assist in client interviews, case preparation, and advocacy support.

Contribute to community outreach and public legal education initiatives.

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 (Year 1) | £29,000 (Year 2)

Benefits: 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, paid study and exam leave
