About:
The European Court of Human Rights (Council of Europe) oversees the implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights across member states. The Court receives complaints regarding human rights violations after domestic remedies have been exhausted.
Eligibility:
-
Master’s degree in Law from a Ukrainian institution permitting access to legal professions in Ukraine
-
Maximum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in Ukrainian law or related international work
-
Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian (native level) and very good English or French
-
Citizen of a Council of Europe member state, under 35 years of age
-
Compliance with national service obligations
Roles & Responsibilities:
-
Assist senior staff in drafting correspondence with applicants and standard case decisions
-
Examine applications in prima facie inadmissible or standard cases
-
Draft decisions, reports, minutes, and other legal documents
-
Support Registry members in preparing applications for Court consideration
