About:
The SOCIAL‑DN project under the Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Doctoral Networks (MSCA) programme is offering 17 fully-funded PhD positions. The programme focuses on Sociology of Authoritarian Law: Insights from Central Asia and provides a unique international research experience across 14 partner universities in Europe and Canada.
Eligibility:

Candidates with a strong academic background in law, sociology, political science, or related fields.

Interest in authoritarian legal systems, comparative law, and social research.

Ability to undertake fieldwork and international research placements.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct original research in the Sociology of Authoritarian Law.

Participate in fieldwork and secondments in Central Asia.

Collaborate with international researchers and institutions.

Contribute to academic publications and project outcomes over the 48-month PhD programme.
