About:
AQUILAW is expanding its multidisciplinary legal team in Kolkata and is seeking a qualified CA with 8–9 years of PQE to join as Counsel. The role involves providing integrated tax, finance, and regulatory solutions across corporate, real estate, litigation, and cross-border transactions.
Eligibility & Skills:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–9 years post-qualification experience

Strong expertise in direct and indirect taxation, financial compliance, and transaction structuring

Proficiency in accounting/tax software, digital compliance platforms, and documentation

Experience in real estate, corporate transactions, or litigation support is a plus
-
Strong analytical, communication, and client liaison skills
Key Responsibilities:

Tax advisory, compliance, audits, and representation before authorities

Structuring real estate and corporate transactions, performing due diligence

Litigation support in financial disputes and tax matters

Financial management, reporting, and preparation of financial models

Client and stakeholder liaison across multi-disciplinary engagements
