The program combines rigorous research, teaching, and administrative experience (up to 20% departmental work) to develop scholars who contribute meaningfully to the field of human rights.
Eligibility:

Strong academic background, relevant research experience, and scholarly aptitude

Ability to benefit from doctoral studies as assessed on quality, quantity, progression, and relevance
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct original research in human rights studies

Participate in teaching and departmental administrative tasks (up to 20%)

Develop a detailed research/project plan in consultation with faculty

Contribute to academic publications and scholarly activities within the department
