About:
Michael Page is collaborating with a global business services organisation to onboard a Data Privacy Lawyer on a secondment basis in Mumbai. The selected professional will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and global privacy compliance initiatives.
Eligibility:

LL.B./LL.M. with 3–5 years of experience in privacy or IT law.

Strong understanding of India’s and international privacy laws.

Preferred certifications: CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27001/27701, CISA, or equivalent.

Candidates immediately available and based in Mumbai will be preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead privacy initiatives with global impact.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, IT, and Compliance.

Support the India DPO in implementing privacy frameworks and compliance programs.
