About:
The King’s Commonwealth Fellowship Programme Climate Resilience Fellowships, inspired by His Majesty King Charles III, offers mid-career professionals from Commonwealth Small Island Developing States (SIDS) a fully funded, one-year professional development programme in climate adaptation practice. The fellowship focuses on strengthening practical climate resilience, fostering cross-sectoral collaboration, and supporting inclusive, locally grounded adaptation initiatives.
Eligibility:

Mid-career professionals with 5–15 years of experience in climate adaptation or related fields.

Employment at an organisation registered in an eligible SIDS country with a contract extending to at least February 2027.

Citizens or refugees of eligible countries with permanent residence in the same.

Committed to 10–20 years of increasingly responsible roles in climate adaptation.

Programme Components:

18-week online training (Feb–July 2026) with live workshops, self-study, and modules on climate literacy, inter-sectoral collaboration, policy influence, and climate finance.

Five-day in-person residential in Fiji (Aug 2026).

Five-month applied learning project (Aug–Dec 2026) embedded in participants’ workplace.

Access to a virtual Community of Practice for collaborative problem-solving.

Practical tools to implement immediate and long-term climate adaptation solutions.

Option to receive a Postgraduate Certificate upon completion (pending accreditation).
