About the Role
JKB Legal, a Mumbai-based law firm, is seeking a litigation associate with over 3 years of PQE to join its dynamic and impact-driven team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in complex legal disputes and courtroom practice.
Key Responsibilities
– Litigating matters related to Real Estate, Banking, and Commercial disputes, including Property, SARFAESI, IBC, and more
– Drafting and reviewing legal notices, petitions, suits, appeals, replies, written statements, etc.
– Opportunity to appear independently before the Bombay High Court, NCLT, DRT, DRAT, Magistrate Courts, Arbitrations, and other courts and tribunals
Candidate Requirements
– Minimum 3 years of relevant litigation experience
– Strong legal drafting and research skills
– Ability to handle cases independently
– Must be proficient in English (spoken and written)
– Preference for Mumbai-based candidates
– Should be communicative, dependable, and have a strong work ethic
– Remuneration: As per industry standards (following a 6-month paid probation, aligned with Bar Council of India remuneration guidelines)
