About the Opportunity
Kayser & Company, a reputed firm specializing in intellectual property law, is inviting applications for the position of Associate – Intellectual Property Prosecution at its Mumbai office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse areas of IP law and gain extensive experience in managing prosecution matters.
Eligibility

Qualification: LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. with specialization in Intellectual Property (preferred)

Experience: 2–5 years of prior experience in IP prosecution

Strong knowledge of trademark and copyright laws; familiarity with patent and design laws desirable
Roles and Responsibilities

Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and design applications before relevant authorities

Prepare responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals

Conduct IP searches, provide legal opinions, and support due diligence exercises

Maintain docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution status reports

Engage in client interactions and correspondence with regulatory authorities
Desired Skills

Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical abilities

Strong attention to detail with ability to handle multiple matters under deadlines

Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficiency with IP databases and online filing systems
Compensation
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
