MetaLaw Offices is looking to expand its Transactions Team and is hiring an Associate with 1.5 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. This is a fast-paced, high-exposure role suited for professionals passionate about M&A, venture capital, and private equity transactions. The position is based in Delhi NCR and offers the opportunity to work directly with founders, funds, and general counsels.
Eligibility:

Experience: 1.5–3 years PQE

Required Background:

Hands-on experience in M&A deals and VC/PE transactions

Strong grounding in deal structuring, due diligence, and definitive agreements
-
Experience working on both investor and founder sides

Solid understanding of corporate law and commercial strategy
-
Ability to independently draft, review, and close transactions quickly

Not Eligible:

Pure litigation backgrounds

Candidates with only in-house experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work on M&A and VC/PE transactions from start to finish

Draft and negotiate term sheets, definitive agreements, and related documentation

Conduct legal due diligence and support deal structuring

Collaborate closely with business founders, investors, and internal teams
