About:
Kunal Khanna & Co., based in Jangpura, New Delhi, is seeking an Associate specializing in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) litigation. The role offers exposure to counterfeit enforcement and digital infringement matters. This is an on-site position with immediate joining.
Eligibility:
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 0–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in IPR litigation.
- Demonstrated interest in trademarks, copyrights, and enforcement matters.
- Strong drafting and research skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Draft and file pleadings including plaints, written statements, injunctions, and replies in IP matters.
- Assist in counterfeit enforcement actions, including preparing search and seizure requests, coordinating with enforcement agencies, and briefing Local Commissioners.
- Execute online brand protection measures, such as notice-and-takedown on e-commerce platforms, social media, and websites.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case notes, and develop strategy briefs.
- Manage day-to-day case follow-ups with clients, courts, and registries, maintaining structured case files and evidence sets.
- Attend hearings and support seniors/counsel in litigation strategy.
