About the Role
TikTok is seeking a Global Privacy Counsel to join its Legal team in Dublin. This position focuses on managing regulatory investigations and ensuring compliance with international data privacy standards. Eligibility
- Law degree with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in data protection, privacy, or regulatory investigations.
- Qualified to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
- Prior experience working with regulators or advising on GDPR and global privacy frameworks preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regulatory investigations concerning data protection and privacy.
- Provide strategic legal advice on GDPR, ePrivacy, and other international privacy frameworks.
- Liaise with regulators and external stakeholders on privacy-related matters.
- Support internal teams in managing compliance risks and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement privacy risk mitigation strategies.
