Call for Applications: Generation Restore Talk Series by Climate Cardinals UYC India Chapter
Are you a passionate young environmentalist, climate advocate, or eco-entrepreneur eager to share your ideas and inspire others? The Climate Cardinals UYC India Chapter invites youth from across the country to apply for the Generation Restore Talk Series—an uplifting online speaking platform dedicated to young changemakers leading efforts in sustainability, innovation, and climate justice. This event, held on 5 June 2025 in observance of World Environment Day, aims to highlight the work of youth at the forefront of climate action, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development.
About the Organizers
Climate Cardinals is a global, youth-driven nonprofit organization working to make climate education universally accessible by translating and openly sharing climate resources. In India, the initiative is spearheaded by Udaan Youth Club (UYC)—a nationally recognized youth-led organization known for its powerful grassroots campaigns, climate awareness programs, and inclusive sustainability efforts. Together, they empower young people to champion environmental change, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international climate advocacy goals.

This nationwide virtual event provides an opportunity for youth to present their environmental projects, personal experiences, and actionable solutions through a 7–10 minute PowerPoint presentation in either English or Hindi.

From climate education and waste reduction to clean energy and nature restoration—this platform welcomes diverse environmental narratives that contribute toward a sustainable and climate-resilient India.
Eligibility Criteria
Youth aged 13 to 30 years are encouraged to apply, especially those involved in environmental organizations, youth-led sustainability efforts, community-based green initiatives, eco-entrepreneurship, or nature and climate education. Individuals engaged in fields such as climate action and justice, ecosystem restoration, sustainable living, waste and water management, renewable energy, and SDG-driven education are welcome. Both self-nominations and nominations by institutions (including NGOs, schools, colleges, and youth networks) are highly encouraged to ensure diverse representation.
Expectations from Selected Speakers
Selected participants will:
- Deliver a 7–10 minute talk with a PowerPoint presentation (in English or Hindi)
- Share their environmental journey, local impact, and key takeaways
- Inspire peers by reflecting on their sustainability work and lessons learned
- Represent their community, initiative, or organization on a national platform
