About MLRC

The Maharashtra Legal Rights Consortium (MLRC), now affiliated with the National Legal Rights Consortium and supported by the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), is stepping into a transformative phase. Our mission is to advocate for universal justice, equality, and dignity, ensuring that legal rights transcend societal barriers.

About the Competition

Theme: “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
Occasion: International Women’s Day

This competition aims to encourage creative expression in advocating for women’s rights, inclusion, and empowerment. Participants are invited to design handmade posters that visually represent the theme, highlighting the importance of equal opportunities for all women and girls, irrespective of their background, identity, or circumstances.

Eligibility

✔️ Open to law students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LLB course.
✔️ Individual participation only (No team entries).

Submission Guidelines

Artwork Requirements:

Size: A3 (11.7 x 16.5 inches)
Orientation: Portrait mode
Medium: Handmade artwork only (No digital artwork)
Originality: Must be original—Plagiarism or copyright infringement will lead to disqualification.

Submission Format:

Scan the artwork and submit it as a PDF file.
File Naming Format: ParticipantCode_MLRC (e.g., PC001_MLRC).
Participant Code: You will receive a unique code upon registration, which must be mentioned in the bottom left corner of your poster.

Important Dates:

Registration Deadline: February 20, 2025
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2025 (Late submissions will not be accepted)
Results Announcement: March 8, 2025 (International Women’s Day)

Copyright & Plagiarism Policy
