
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, one of India’s premier law universities, is hosting the Sixth Edition of the NLIU Model United Nations (NLIU-MUN 2026). The conference is organised under the aegis of two leading academic centres of NLIU: the Centre for Research in International Law (CRIL) and Manthan: Centre for Knowledge & Policy Discussion.
NLIU-MUN is known for its academically rigorous, policy-focused, and diplomacy-intensive simulations that bring together students from across the country to engage with pressing issues in international law, global governance, and international relations.
ELIGIBILITY
Participation is open to:

School students from any recognised institution

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognised university in India
Note: All payments are strictly non-refundable.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delegates will:
-
Represent allocated countries, organisations, or individual portfolios.

Engage in structured debate, diplomacy, consensus-building, and policy drafting.

Research global issues, analyse international frameworks, and develop innovative solutions.

Participate in committee sessions following formal UN Rules of Procedure.
Participants in the International Press Corps (IPC) will:

Report on committee proceedings through articles, editorials, and interviews.
-
Capture key moments as photographers or provide political satire as caricaturists.
PARTICIPATION FEE

With Accommodation: Rs. 2500

NLIU-MUN 2026 offers a prize pool of up to Rs. 1,20,000. Awards for each committee include:

Step 3: Complete the payment via the methods specified in the allotment email.

Step 5: Receive the final confirmation email securing your participation.
