The Two-Day National Seminar on “The Indian Constitution: New Dimensions and Challenges,” hosted by the Amrita International School of Law, marks seventy-five years of India’s constitutional evolution. The seminar endeavours to critically interrogate the dynamic spirit of the Constitution against the backdrop of contemporary challenges, including digital transformation, globalization, environmental sustainability, and social justice. It serves as a distinguished forum for scholars, jurists, policymakers, researchers, and students to engage in substantive dialogue on the ongoing relevance of constitutional principles in governance and the protection of fundamental rights. Through keynote lectures, expert panels, and paper presentations, the seminar seeks to bridge the divide between constitutional theory and practice, fostering research rigor, critical reflection, and enhanced constitutional literacy.
