About the Organizers
The Centre for Tribal Studies and Social Justice (CTJSS) at NLU Tripura is dedicated to securing social justice for marginalized communities in India. The Centre serves as a research and advocacy hub, addressing legal and social challenges faced by disadvantaged groups, particularly tribal communities.

The National PIL Drafting Competition 2025 by NLU Tripura’s CTSSJ is a unique opportunity for law students to explore and address pressing legal issues affecting tribal communities in India. Participants will draft Public Interest Litigations (PILs) to advocate for social justice, legal reform, and constitutional rights.
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Open to 3-year LL.B. & 5-year LL.B. students from any recognized law university/college in India.
✅ No restriction on the number of entries per institution.
✅ Individual participation and team participation (teams of two) are allowed.
✅ Cross-university teams are permitted.
Competition Mode
Online – Open to law students across India.
Important Dates
Last Date for Registration – 15th March 2025
Last Date for PIL Submission – 30th April 2025
Tentative Date for Result Declaration – 21st May 2025

Single Registration – ₹600/-
Team Registration (Two Participants) – ₹1000/-

Prizes & Awards
Winner – ₹10,000 + Certificate of Excellence
