About the Opportunity
NLIU invites applications for the position of Research Assistant for a research project sponsored by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi or Odia is desirable.
- Experience: Prior experience working with state or local authorities in Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, or Chhattisgarh is preferred.
- Minimum Qualification: LL.M. degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Specialization in International Trade Law or Business Laws is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Nature of Work: Legal research and field visits.
- On-Campus Presence: Applicants are required to be on campus and available for travel as required.
- Data Collection: Conducting extensive travel and gathering data from Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
Internship Details
- Duration:
- Initial appointment for three (03) months.
- Extension possible for an additional six (06) months upon review.
- Mode: Onsite (NLIU Bhopal Campus)
- Salary: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated pay)
- Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
