About the Job
Redefined Associates, a full-service law firm with its office in Jaipur, is currently hiring two Junior Associates to join its New Delhi office. The selected candidates will be expected to independently manage matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, while also maintaining relevant MIS (Management Information Systems). This role offers hands-on litigation and transactional experience in a dynamic legal environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year or 5-year full-time programme from a recognised institution)
- Experience:
- Registered lawyers with relevant legal experience, or
- Fresh law graduates with prior internship experience in litigation or corporate law
- Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong legal research and drafting proficiency
- Organizational and negotiation skills
- Time management and multitasking capabilities
- High interpersonal effectiveness and ability to work collaboratively in a growing team
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Junior Associate, your key duties will include:
- Litigation: Drafting legal pleadings, appearing before Courts and Tribunals, and handling Section 138 NI Act cases
- Advisory & Drafting: Drafting and vetting legal agreements, advising clients on a range of legal matters
- Practice Areas: Primary work will involve Civil and Commercial Law matters
- Transactional Work: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating M&A agreements, joint venture agreements, share purchase agreements, and other commercial contracts
- Legal Support: Conducting legal research, representing clients in court, and providing strategic legal counsel
