About the Role
Odisha Television, the pioneering media venture in Odisha, is looking for a Legal Associate with 1-3 years of experience in corporate law, media law, and regulatory compliance. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in the dynamic media & entertainment law sector.
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized 3-year or 5-year in-person program
- Registered lawyer with relevant legal experience or fresh graduates with prior internship experience
✅ Skills Required:
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent drafting and legal research abilities
- Organizational & negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
- Proficiency in legal documentation & working on a laptop
✅ Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate law, media law, and regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities
Drafting legal pleadings and appearing before Courts & Tribunals
Drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements & contracts
Advising clients on corporate and media law compliance
Handling regulatory matters & legal risk assessments
Practicing in Civil & Criminal Laws
Adapting to a fast-paced legal environment
