About the Job
Lawlevelup is inviting applications for the position of Legal Assistant. This role is ideal for law graduates with at least 6 months of experience as a legal or executive assistant/secretary and offers a remote work arrangement.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills

  • Be a law graduate (3-year or 5-year full-time program)

  • Be a registered lawyer or a graduate with relevant legal experience or internship background

  • Be proficient in legal research, drafting, and interdepartmental coordination

Key Responsibilities

  • Review title deeds and chain of documents related to immovable property and prepare title search reports

  • Coordinate with external legal counsel to obtain SRO reports and legal opinions on property title matters

  • Liaise with the business team to provide guidance on property title status

  • Collect property documentation and historical papers from the registrar’s office in purchase transactions

  • Maintain a daily MIS for tracking legal vendor activities and billing
