Legal Internship Opportunity | Office of Ms. Atishi (MLA, Kalkaji & Leader of Opposition, Delhi Assembly)
Ms. Atishi, MLA from Kalkaji and Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, is looking to onboard legal interns to assist with ongoing issues related to evictions of slum dwellers by the DDA and to examine the broader policy shortcomings in Delhi’s slum redevelopment schemes.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, governance, and social justice, and to contribute meaningfully to on-ground legal and policy interventions.
Who Can Apply?

Law students only (UG or PG)

Individuals with a demonstrated interest in housing rights, urban policy, or constitutional law are especially encouraged to apply

Strong legal research and drafting skills are desirable
Nature of Work

Assisting with fact-finding and documentation of eviction cases

Legal research on rights of slum dwellers, housing law, and relevant jurisprudence

Drafting legal opinions or memos for potential PILs or interventions

Supporting broader legislative or policy strategy
