About the Internship:
The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) is inviting applications for a Legal Internship under its Global Accountability Initiative. This opportunity offers meaningful engagement with international human rights law, particularly in support of a high-level forum scheduled for November 2025.
Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Until December 2025
Eligibility:

Advanced law students or recent graduates (preferably with coursework in international law, human rights, or transitional justice)

Demonstrated interest in accountability and international legal frameworks

Strong legal research and drafting skills

Fluency in English (additional UN languages are an asset)
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct legal and policy research

Assist in drafting a background paper for a high-level forum

Support advocacy and documentation efforts related to the ICJ’s accountability mandate

Collaborate with the Global Accountability team on thematic and regional priorities
