VidhiUtsav II Edition | National Legal Aid Excellence Award | UPES School of Law
The School of Law, UPES, invites legal aid clinics from universities and institutions across India to participate in the National Legal Aid Excellence Award as part of VidhiUtsav II Edition, India’s largest academic law fest.
About the Competition
The competition aims to recognize law students and institutions for their contributions to promoting legal aid, access to justice, and empowerment of marginalized communities. Participants will present their Annual Report & Policy Proposal showcasing their initiatives.
Mode: Hybrid
- Round 1: Online Report Submission
- Final Round: Offline Presentation (Top 6 teams) at UPES, Dehradun
Eligibility
- Open to legal aid clinics affiliated with universities or educational institutions across India.
- Each team must consist of up to two law students (UG/PG).
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: 15th February 2025
- Report Submission Deadline: 10th March 2025
- Result Declaration (Top 6 Teams): 20th March 2025
- PPT Submission Deadline: 30th March 2025
- Offline Presentation at UPES: 12th April 2025
- Final Results Announcement: 13th April 2025
Registration & Fee Details
- Registration Fee: INR 1500 per team
- Accommodation (if required): INR 800 per person per night
Prizes
- Winner: INR 15,000 + Merit Certificate
- Runner-up: INR 10,000 + Merit Certificate
- Second Runner-up: INR 5,000 + Merit Certificate
- Certificates for all participants
How to Register
Fill out the Google Form available on the official competition website. Upon successful registration, teams will receive a Unique Identification Code (UIC) for further participation.
