ABOUT GNLU
Gujarat National Law University, established under the GNLU Act, 2003 by the Government of Gujarat, began functioning in 2004 to enhance the learning of law and make advancements in the field of legal studies. GNLU, having a diverse student base, appreciates all cultures and backgrounds. Further, the University has always advocated for the holistic development of the students, focusing equally on academic and extra-curricular activities.
ABOUT GNLU SPORTS COMMITTEE
The GNLU Sports Committee was constituted in 2008 to develop a sporting culture and instill the values of sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork within the students. The Committee has worked to promote the sports culture in GNLU by successfully organizing various events over the years be it inter-university competitions like the Justice League or intra-university tournaments, such as Inter-batch 2022, Futsal, volley mania, black top, etc., where all the batches competed for the prize money, and the whole university was involved in the spirit of sportsmanship. Continuing its excellent sporting tradition GNLU has recently left its mark in the NLIU sports fest Virudhaka, where it received the best contingent award.
ABOUT JUSTICE LEAGUE
Justice League, the annual Gujarat National Law University sports festival, had its first edition in 2014 and has been held successfully ever since. Over the years, the fest has consistently grown in strength and size, witnessing participation from all over the country and abroad. The previous editions have witnessed a footfall of over 1500 participants, all of whom got a fantastic opportunity to showcase their skills and were also appreciative of the events organized. Participation has been witnessed from esteemed universities such as Jindal Global University; IIT Gandhinagar; NIFT Gandhinagar; NLU Jodhpur; Tribhuvan University, Nepal and so on. This time, after a break of two years, GNLU is back with the 7th edition of the fest, which looks even more promising and enthralling with increased participation from across the country. This Justice League would be Better, Bigger and Bolder with new sports and events and a renewed sense of excitement.

REGISTRATION
How to Register?
Any college willing to participate in the 7th edition of the Justice league is requested to mail to the GNLU Sports committee at sports@gnlu.ac.in to get the official invitation brochure and other registration forms.
Upon receiving the official invitation, every team must confirm participation by sending us a confirmation email before the deadline.
After confirmation, the teams must fill out all the details in the respective JL’23 Registration Form and the Excel sheet which will be provided after confirmation mail.The Participants Accommodation Detail Form (if opting for it) will be sent along with the invite and emailed back to us at sports@gnlu.ac.in. It is further necessary for every college contingent to mention the name of the Contingent In-charge while sending the confirmation email.
Suppose only one team is participating from a particular institute. In that case, the name of the Team Captain should be mentioned. In the case of individual participation, only that person’s name should be intimated to us along with the confirmation email.
Registration fee details
Without accommodation – The registration fee is Rs.300 per person (inclusive of 18% GST).
With accommodation – The registration fee is Rs. 3,200 per person (Inclusive of 18% GST). This fee shall cover the accommodation of 4 nights and 5 days from 23rd to 27th February 2023 (from 23rd Morning to 11. am on 27th February 2023). The registration fees shall also include breakfast for the abovementioned days and transportation.
***There shall be an Additional fee of Rs. 200 for any participant participating in more than one event.
If a Contingent wishes to arrive a day earlier or stay for an extra day, the same must be intimated to the Organizing Committee so arrangements can be made accordingly. The charges for the same shall be informed upon receiving such a request. Travel Arrangements from the pick-up location to the University and from the university premises to the accommodation and for some sports to the venue of the event and vice versa shall be provided by the University.
***The process for payment of the registration shall be communicated to the interested colleges upon receiving a confirmation email from their end.
