The firm is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Associate in its Delhi office. This position is suitable for freshers and young lawyers who are serious about building a career in intellectual property law and related practice areas.

Role and Responsibilities
The Trainee Associate will work with the intellectual property team and support on both contentious and non contentious IP matters. The work profile is likely to include:

Assisting in trademark, copyright and design related matters

Conducting legal and factual research on intellectual property issues, enforcement strategies and regulatory developments

Assisting in preparation and filing of applications, oppositions, replies and other documents before IP offices and relevant authorities

Supporting drafting of notices, responses, email communications and basic agreements related to IP

Assisting senior associates and partners in case preparation, documentation and client communication
The role is intended to provide structured training in intellectual property practice while expecting the candidate to take responsibility for assigned tasks and timelines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should:

Be a law graduate with 0 to 1 year of post qualification experience

Have a demonstrated interest in intellectual property, for example through internships, moot courts, research work or prior exposure to IP matters

Possess good research, drafting and written communication skills

Be disciplined, responsive and willing to learn in a fast paced environment

Be comfortable working from the Delhi office and available to join at short notice
Freshers with strong internships and a clear interest in intellectual property are encouraged to apply.
