About the Role
Persistent Systems is hiring a Senior Data Privacy Analyst to join its growing privacy and compliance team in Pune. This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days a week) offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen global privacy practices within a leading technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).

Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs) and related documentation.

Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA India, etc.).

Support vendor risk assessments, data subject rights requests, and incident response processes.

Draft and maintain privacy notices, internal policies, and procedural guidelines.

Track regulatory developments and operationalize updates into business processes.
Requirements

Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on work in data privacy and protection.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of global data protection regulations and frameworks.

Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred: IAPP certification (e.g., CIPP/E) or equivalent credentials.
