The firm works closely with founders, investors, funds and family offices, advising across the full business lifecycle from early stage funding to complex exit transactions. The practice is transaction driven, detail intensive and designed for lawyers who want hands on exposure to high growth corporate work.

About the Role

Sarvaank Associates is expanding its Corporate Practice and is hiring for the positions of Associate and Senior Associate. This is a full time, on site role based in New Delhi.

Selected candidates will work closely with founders, investors and funds on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including:

1. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment documents, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts and transaction documentation

2. Conducting in depth legal research on corporate, regulatory and data privacy frameworks

3. Advising on private equity, venture capital investments, fund related matters and M&A transactions

4. Assisting with legal due diligence, transaction structuring and regulatory compliance

5. Managing client communications and delivering practical, business oriented legal solutions

Qualifications and Experience

• LL.B. from a recognised law school; LL.M. or corporate specialisation is an advantage

• Associate: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

• Senior Associate: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

• Mandatory prior law firm experience

• Strong understanding of the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations and general corporate commercial laws

• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating SHA, SSA, SPA, term sheets and commercial agreements

• Exposure to due diligence, transaction structuring and regulatory compliance

• Familiarity with start ups, cap tables, ESOPs and fund investments preferred

• Strong legal research and opinion drafting skills

• Ability to independently manage client interactions

• High attention to detail, analytical rigour and comfort in a fast paced transaction environment

• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines
