A leading full-service law firm, S.S. Rana & Co., is inviting applications for the position of Patent Paralegal at its South Delhi office. This role offers hands-on exposure to patent prosecution, portfolio management, and IP operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Responsibilities

Assist patent attorneys in patent prosecution, filings, and portfolio management

Handle patent-related queries
-
Prepare, file, and manage patent applications (Provisional, Complete, PCT, National Phase)

Monitor deadlines, annuities, renewals, and FER responses
-
Maintain patent databases, docketing systems, and case files
-
Assist in patent and prior art searches and preparation of search reports

Draft routine patent documents, correspondence, and reports

Organize and maintain patent records

Assist in hearings, oppositions, and patent litigation matters, where applicable
Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of patent laws and filing procedures

Excellent organizational and deadline-management skills

Proficiency in MS Office and patent docketing systems

Strong research, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
