Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Advanced legal qualification (Master 2 or equivalent) with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Law

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in litigation, ideally in a technology, fintech or patent-heavy environment, or at the Bar

Strong understanding of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and FRAND licensing frameworks
-
Excellent communication, negotiation and legal drafting skills
-
High level of legal rigour, ability to structure complex positions and drive negotiations assertively
-
Proficiency in legal English is essential; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
The position focuses on the strategic protection and management of Ingenico’s technological assets, including trademarks, patents, domain names and software. Key responsibilities include:

Managing domestic and international trademark portfolios, including coordination with external IP counsel for filings, renewals and administrative procedures

Safeguarding domain names and managing related disputes

Providing IP support across the organisation, including drafting and negotiating licensing contracts and IP clauses

Leading litigation and pre-litigation strategies

Driving SEP licensing negotiations in line with FRAND principles

Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in IP law

Collaborating with internal teams (legal, R&D, compliance, public affairs) to anticipate risks and ensure alignment on IP strategy

Contributing to lobbying and policy efforts before European and national institutions (EUIPO, EPO, European Commission, Parliament, Council, etc.)
