About the Organisation
People’s Watch Tamil Nadu (PW-TN) is a well-known human rights organisation working across grassroots justice processes and international human rights mechanisms. They are inviting applications for a full-time Legal Researcher position based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, for a period of 12 months.
Eligibility
• Strong command over English
• Solid grounding in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Human Rights Law
• Excellent research and analytical writing skills
• Tamil proficiency is not required
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct research and documentation on human rights issues
• Support ongoing legal and rights-based interventions
• Assist with case-based research, drafting, and advocacy inputs
• Contribute to organisational reports, briefs, and submissions
