About the Organisation
Jar is a fast-growing fintech platform operating at the intersection of technology, savings, and financial inclusion. The legal and compliance team plays a key role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across RBI, MCA, FIU and other frameworks, while supporting various business verticals such as Product, Finance, HR, Operations and Marketing.
Eligibility
-
Bachelor’s degree in Law
-
1–2 years of experience, preferably in fintech or a startup environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify legal concepts for cross-functional teams
-
High attention to detail, ownership mindset and familiarity with compliance workflows
Roles and Responsibilities
-
Drafting and reviewing contracts including NDAs, service agreements and operational documents

Supporting business teams across Finance, Product, HR, Operations and Marketing on legal queries

Tracking regulatory updates and assisting with compliance activities including audits and filings

Managing compliance documentation, internal SOPs, and licensing requirements
