A leading and well established Fintech organisation is seeking senior legal support for a short term engagement. The role sits within a fast paced, regulated environment and involves close collaboration with business, compliance and leadership teams.
Important note: Due to the nature and duration of the contract, only Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents will be considered.
About the Role
The position is for Senior Legal Counsel on a short term contract, based in Singapore. The role requires providing commercially sound, practical and business aligned legal advice across a wide spectrum of matters.
Key responsibilities include:

Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and filing commercial and corporate agreements

Advising on market access and local business development initiatives

Handling regulatory and compliance matters relevant to fintech operations

Managing customer complaints and disputes

Supporting corporate governance requirements
-
Assisting with transactional and strategic activities
This role is suited for a senior in house counsel comfortable operating independently and delivering solution oriented advice in a regulated fintech setting.
Eligibility and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
-
Eight or more years of relevant legal experience
-
Strong background in commercial and corporate legal work
-
Fluency in English
-
Ability to work effectively in a business facing, high accountability role
