Tata Capital is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Legal, based in Lower Parel, Mumbai. This is a senior in-house legal role offering the opportunity to work closely on corporate transactions, financial structuring, and regulatory compliance within one of India’s leading financial services organisations.

Experience: 10–12 years post-qualification
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of contracts and transaction documents.

Provide legal structuring, due diligence, and compliance support for financial transactions.

Liaise with external counsels and internal business, compliance, and finance teams.

Advise management on legal risk mitigation and strategic decisions.

Draft and review NDAs, MOUs, lease agreements, loan/security documents, shareholder agreements, and other corporate contracts.

Independently review Title Search Reports (TSRs) and advise on security creation.
Required Knowledge
-
Comprehensive understanding of RBI and SEBI regulations, Companies Act, Contract Act, and Partnership Act.

Strong grounding in financial documentation, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
