About the Role
TVF is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Legal to join its Legal Team at the Mumbai office. This role is ideal for a motivated law graduate who is keen to work closely with creative, business, and production teams while handling legal matters in a fast-paced media and entertainment environment.
The role offers exposure to a variety of legal work, including content-related contracts, intellectual property protection, licensing arrangements, and regulatory compliance. Candidates with prior experience in Media & Entertainment law and Intellectual Property (IP) will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of media, production, licensing, and commercial contracts

Managing end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including vetting, execution, and compliance

Advising internal stakeholders on intellectual property rights, licensing, assignments, and usage

Supporting legal aspects of content creation, distribution, and brand collaborations

Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, industry guidelines, and internal policies

Coordinating with external legal counsel, as required
