RJS Legal Associates is inviting applications from serious litigation interns and junior advocates for its criminal defence practice. This opportunity is strictly for candidates committed to building a long-term career in criminal litigation.
The Chambers focuses on hands-on courtroom practice and expects candidates to engage deeply with criminal defence work. Short-term internships or trial stints are not being considered.
Eligibility
• LLB (3-year course) students
• BALLB students in the 5th year
• Fresh or newly enrolled junior advocates (preferred)
• Open to both male and female candidates
Work Profile
• Court appearances in criminal matters
• Jail visits and client coordination
• Drafting bail applications and criminal pleadings
• Legal research, including MCOCA and POCSO matters
• Case preparation and day-to-day criminal court work
Important Notes
• Long-term commitment is mandatory
• Candidates seeking 1 to 6 month internships should not apply
• Stipend will be performance-based
• No fixed number of vacancies
• Selection purely on merit and performance
