
Registrations are now open for the third cycle of the Indian Litigation Fellowship (2026–27).
The Fellowship is designed to support first-generation women litigators at the start of their litigation careers through structured financial assistance and mentorship.
What the Fellowship Offers
• Financial support: Grant of INR 3,60,000 for one year, disbursed monthly
• Mentorship: Guidance from a network of experienced women litigators
• Commencement: June/July 2026
Who Can Apply
• Women applicants only
• Final-year law students and early-career litigators with 0–2 years’ experience
• First-generation lawyers (preference for demonstrated economic need)
Important Update for 2026–27
Applicants may apply to only one fellowship track, to be chosen at the outset:
• Open Fellowship – 8 positions
• LIR-1 at Pravah Law – 1 position
• LIR-2 at E-23 Chambers – 1 position
This cycle is made possible through the generous support of members of the Bar, institutions, and individual contributors, and is run entirely by a volunteer-led team.
