About the Opportunity
India Juris is urgently hiring a Senior Associate for its Private Equity – Venture Capital (PE–VC) vertical at its Mumbai office. This role is suitable for lawyers who are already engaged in PE/VC transactions at reputed law firms and are looking to deepen their transactional exposure in a fast-paced corporate practice.
The selected candidate will work closely with partners and clients on end-to-end PE/VC transactions, from structuring to execution.
Key Responsibilities

Advising private equity funds and venture capital investors on investments and exits

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents including SHA, SSA, SPA, investment agreements, and ancillary documents

Conducting legal due diligence and preparing diligence reports

Advising on regulatory, corporate, and compliance matters under Indian law

Coordinating with clients, investors, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction closures
Eligibility & Requirements

Qualification: LL.B (mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of post-qualification experience

Practice Background: Prior experience in PE/VC at a reputed law firm (mandatory)

Bar Enrollment: Mandatory

Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills

Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
