About the Role
An organization is hiring an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join its Hyderabad-based legal team. This is a senior individual-contributor role with strong business-partnering exposure, ideal for professionals who enjoy working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on both strategic and operational matters.
The role involves advising the business on day-to-day legal issues as well as high-impact, organization-wide initiatives, while also mentoring junior team members when required.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a broad spectrum of in-house legal work, including:

End-to-end contract drafting, review, and negotiation across commercial arrangements

Employment law advisory, including HR support and workplace-related matters

Intellectual Property and trademark portfolio support

Data privacy and data protection compliance

Drafting and reviewing internal policies and compliance frameworks

Providing pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice for business operations

Supporting leadership with legal risk assessment and decision-making

Leading negotiations and managing complex stakeholder conversations
Eligibility & Experience

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience

Prior in-house experience or strong exposure to corporate advisory work preferred

Ability to independently manage legal matters across multiple domains

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
-
Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is an advantage
