Epic Company is looking to hire an Executive – Legal with prior experience in the Media & Entertainment sector, particularly with a strong grounding in Intellectual Property Rights. This is an in-office role offering hands-on involvement in film and television production work.

Position: Executive – Legal
Experience: 1–2 years
Sector: Media & Entertainment
Location: Jogeshwari, Mumbai
Mode: Full-time, Work From Office (5 days a week)
Key Responsibilities
Providing end-to-end legal support across film and television development and production
Drafting and negotiating talent agreements, above-the-line contracts, co-production agreements, rights acquisition and licensing documents
Handling literary option and purchase agreements and content exploitation deals across platforms
Reviewing and perfecting chain of title and conducting IP and content clearances during pre-development
Assessing third-party rights and contractual obligations
Drafting and reviewing marketing and promotional contracts including product placement and co-branding arrangements
Overseeing contract execution and administration and maintaining project status reports
Supporting litigation through legal research and briefing notes
Working closely with the Head of Legal on key legal and strategic matters
Eligibility Criteria
1–2 years of relevant experience in the Media & Entertainment industry
Strong background in Intellectual Property Rights
Candidates must be based in Mumbai
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
