About the Role

EY India is inviting applications for positions within its Customs & Global Trade (Indirect Tax) practice based in Mumbai. The role involves hands-on advisory and compliance work in customs laws and global trade regulations, supporting clients in navigating India’s evolving trade and customs regime.

The selected professionals will work closely with senior leadership and client teams on practical, high-impact assignments in the customs and trade space.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include:

Advising clients on Customs laws, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Handling customs-related compliance and advisory matters
Supporting global trade projects, including risk assessments and process reviews
Working collaboratively within teams to deliver client solutions
Engaging in complex problem-solving in the Indirect Tax domain

Eligibility & Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years of practical experience in Customs laws and procedures
Freshers: Qualified freshers with a strong interest in Customs & Global Trade are also encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the Indirect Tax and Global Trade domain
