Role Overview:
The selected candidate will support the legal and risk framework for retail housing finance operations, with a focus on title due diligence, mortgage documentation, and loan-related legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct title verification and property due diligence for housing loan proposals
• Examine and vet property and mortgage documents
• Ensure compliance with internal credit and legal policies
• Support SARFAESI and recovery-related legal processes, where required
• Coordinate with panel advocates, technical agencies, and business teams
• Maintain legal MIS and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• LL.B. degree from a recognised university
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in housing finance/NBFC/banking legal roles
• Strong understanding of property laws and mortgage documentation
• Good analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a target-driven lending environment
