About the Competition
Vidhi Vaarta, in association with Doon Journal Multidisciplinary Research (DJMR) as the Publication Partner, is pleased to announce the 2nd Late Janaki Ballabh Memorial Essay Writing Competition 2025.
The competition invites original essays on the theme “Law, Language, and Culture”, encouraging interdisciplinary legal research and critical thinking.

In Memoriam
This competition is dedicated to Late Shri Janaki Ballabh (1928–2022), a distinguished Sinologist and translator who significantly contributed to strengthening cultural and literary ties between India and China.
